What is

Terephthalic acid, commonly known as TPA, is a key monomer used to make PET plastics. It reacts with ethylene glycol to form PET, which can then be pelletized.

Despite its versatility and potential demand, the recycled TPA (rTPA) market remains at an early stage, with limited technology available for large-scale production. Denovia’s technology is one of the few market-ready options capable of producing rTPA at scale.

A new market

The rTPA market is still in its early stages, with projections pointing to a value of $19.3 billion* by 2035. Technologies like Denovia’s can help unlock this growth.
